I am playing as Real Zaragoza and in my first season I did okay, I won the UEFA Cup, The Spanish Cup and came Fourth in the league.

At the end of Season One Ive just signed Lulinho (sp), Vagner Love but had to sell Alberto Zapater to Milan for £19,000,000

I now need a Def Midfielder, Left Back and Goalkeeper (to take over from Cesar) any suggestions???

Mascherano`s contract runs out by now ,did he sign a new one in your game?

17M wont get you a lot of amazing players in 3 positions sadly. But try:

DM:
Diarra (Arsenal)
Flamini (Arsenal)
Bodmer (sometimes a backup at Lyon. Check on him.)
Hubschman (Shakthar)
Poulsen (generally a backup at Sevilla after season 1)
Huddlestone (if you're lucky, you can get him cheap)

LB:
Cassani (usually out of contract at the end of the season)
Traore (Arsenal, if you get lucky, you'll get him cheap)
Insua (Liverpool, good prospect)
Sakho (defensive LB but great)

GK: (dont know if you need one NOW or for the future)
Wiese (usually out of contract end of season 1)
Cudicini (backup at Chelsea and will be great for atleast 2-3 years)
Joao Carlos (At. Paranaense, good prospect)
Dean Bouzanis (Liverpool, good prospect)
Federico Agliardi (Palermo, great stats)


As for Sunny, yeah he's a good DM but I dont think you'll be able to afford him. If you can, then it probably wont leave you with a lot of money for the other positions.
