Pick Carson in goal, Lescott at centre back with Campbell and play Crouch up front on his own.

I'd think this would be the best England lineup:

GK - Green/Carson/Robinson
LB - Cole/Baines/Shorey
RB - Richards/Ryan Taylor/Hoyte
CB - Ferdinand/Steven Taylor/Lescott
CB - Terry/King/Richards/Onuoha
DM - Hargreaves/Reo-Coker/Muamba (in a few years)
LM - Cole/Downing
RM - SWP/Lennon
CM - Gerrard/Lampard/Carrick
ST - Owen/Defoe/Ashton
ST - Rooney/Crouch/Johnson

I've not put Barry anywhere because he can play so many positions. He much be there in the squad as well. Of course, in a few years some of the youngsters will start maturing and you can bring those guys into the team as well. But the above would be in the squad from the start I suppose.
