Hi,

I have just been promoted from the Championship with Bristol City to the Prem at the end of season 07/08.

I do not know my budget yet so am focusing on whats left of the Bosmans.

Nicky Butt (it hurts me to say it), Damien Duff, Jack Hobbs, Adam Eckersley, Cathcart and a load of United's reserves are all still available. My scout is rubbish and tells that no one is worth signing, just wondering what experiences people have had with these or other Bosmans available at end of 07/08 ?

Any advice grealty appreciated !

jack hobbs and cathcart will be a world class for many years to come.... and duff is decent enough.... maybe even butt for experience sake... but eckersley id leave unless he's looking particurly good on your game

try and sign Luis Jimenez, you can get him for 3mill but you have to be quick.

also Matteo Ferrari was on a free and I signed him in the same circumstances as you with Sheff Utd. He's a top defender
