Having updated my entire backlog of saves upto the current one I can report on my latest save and I should now be compliant with all the rules ... finally!

2006-07 CONFERENCE NORTH
Inherited a shocking squad that looked incapable of scoring. Addressed the problem by retraining a lumbering centre half to a striker who hit 3 in 3 at the start of the campaign before being completely useless. A loan signing from Darlington top scored with 9 which sounds pathetic but all 4 of my first choice midfielders chipped in with 3 or 4 goals each and my pretty solid defensive line meant that I didn't conceed many. One of the most uneventful seasons of my career with the only real highlight coming back from 3-0 with half an hour to go at Hyde.

2007-2008 CONFERENCE NORTH
9 players were released from last seasons squad and 6 came in on free transfers. Strangely a complete contrast saw goals aplently at either end, possibly due to a long term injury to my goalkeeper. The board and fans weren't expecting much. The media were tipping me for another season of mid table nothingness. I didn't disappoint.

2008-2009 CONFERENCE NORTH
A fantastic season. Out of nowhere we won 8 of the first 10 with a squad that didn't look any better than last years on paper. I struggled to get in my main targets and changed system to make the most of what I had in the squad. For whatever reason it just clicked and I got very lucky winning the league by 2 points. A good run in the FA Cup and the Trophy gave us a fair bit of cash in the kitty through the usual bonuses which were notible given the revenue and outgoings were pretty similar. My top scorer ended up with 17 after a lean first season at the club last time round. I lost 3-0 at Bradford in the FA Cup 2nd Round and noticed that they had a lot of players I was surprised were at the club. After looking at them a bit closer I noticed they had £17 million in the bank and the chairman and some of the directors were all from Qatar! How I could do with a takeover like that!

2009-2010 CONFERENCE NATIONAL
The words 'out' and 'depth' spring to mind. An awful season. The board simply wanted us to battle bravely. How I wasn't sacked I don't know after 1 point from the first 7 games. Things got better and we won 3 in a row in October but I don't think we were out of the drop zone after the second game. Low point was a 6-0 defeat away to Rushden in which they scored two more after going down to ten men! Relegated with 4 games to go.
Media Prediction and Actual finish was rock bottom.
2010-2011 CONFERENCE NORTH
I am 16 games into the season and am in 9th place. I won my first 3 but now it is as if the players I brought in last year from other conference clubs have decided they are above this level and have given up. Now gone 4 without winning and the board have accepted an offer from Grimsby over my head for my left winger whose value is £65k. He was the only player that looked any good last year and I probably would have accepted the bid anyway. Apparently I get 80% of the fee to spend which is a bloody fortune at this level. Hopefully I can find the right men for the job ...
More updates soon, although with the 2008 demo being played I am not sure how much more time FM2007 will get. It's been emotional.
