Play Off luck found me where it evaded me in the Conference South so long ago, with a 4-3 away win in the first leg and a 3-1 win in the home leg, goals did not appear to be a problem. With 1-1 locking the teams until 120 minutes expired, it left us at penalties and a great job we did in winning 4-3.

Sold my versatile defender at the end of the year for 400k, although he was one of my stars, the money was too much for me to reject and off he went to where we were going, the Football League, although he goes a bit higher. 2 good players brought in from N. Ireland (Top assist from CF) and Wales (Potential - plenty, but lacked pace), both on Frees, as I kept the wallet tight and spent 14k. The young lad scored 29 and would be essential if we wanted to do well in the Football League. This season in a word: WOW

Why does it matter I mentioned him - If you want it changed change it, he is a newgen and Ive seen nationalities mentioned several times on here, surely a nwgen's nationality doesnt matter... Ive got a couple more seasons done, Ill post a report eventually.

It is unfortunate, that the state of Bermuda consists of more than one island and I tend to use the plural in cases like that. I will try to contact the Bermuda ambassador and notify him of this incident of great importance.

2 Successive Promotions!!! Was all about one man, a Northern Irish striker who really stepped up to the plate after the sale of my young striker who scored goals for fun for the last 2 years. 34 goals at 20 years old saw interest being beaten off and a lucrative (as far as league two goes) contract of 5 years being agreed to ward of any potential poachers. Another nice year for the Bermudian who scored and set up a nice tally amongst big interest from the Premiership for the 20 year old. A 800k bid for my U21 Goalkeeper was turned down from Villa despite the players huge mood swings. 6-0 Aggregate Semi Win in the playoff final was followed up by a comfortable 2-0 win in the final, to end what was a dream year for Margate F.C. Oxford loaned me a utility player and product of their youth system which was nice, and as he was very impressive I coughed up 180k or my striker dough on him, hopefully money well spent on this 18 year old.

The League Cup was a huge money spinner, with wins over (In order) Millwall 1-0 (A), Derby 3-2 (A), Swindon 2-0 (H), Everton 2-1 (A). We then lost to a controversial Newcastle goal in the 88th minute after losing the first leg 2-1 we had an away goal, and after scoring to make it 1-0 we nearly did enough, only to be thwarted by the said controversy. Still trips to many stadiums was nice and our FA cup 3rd round match was a 1-0 defeat at home, so our pesky 3000 stadium was filled to the rafters.
