We were awesome all season – We were very unlucky at times – And after losing our first game 4-1 I was pessimistic we could even get 20 points this season, but the scouts were sent out after the summer period (Signed a few future players in the summer), and they came back with some real beasts, especially a world class, leading premiership, 22 year old Macedonian, who many of Europe’s finest wanted, but I snapped him up for a miniscule 160k in January, although to be frank, he was the only addition of note to the squad, 8 goals in 15 were vital, Bermudian was still number one though with 16 goals in another very good season taking his tally to 153 goals in the leagues spanning from Conference to the Premiership and still only just approaching 28 years old, Icelandic player was a disappointment, Pompey might make a bid in the near future.

We were always staying in and around 17th all season, but we dropped off towards the end and were a point off safety with 2 games to go, luckily Birmingham were in freefall, but we both won on the penultimate game, but they lost 2-1 and I got a win and it ensured us at least 1 more season in the top flight. With wins over Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea we showed that we can’t be underestimated in any game. South African centre back picked up 12 MOTMs in the league (8 in first 16 games) and was surprisingly not the player of the season for us or the league, but his “I want to leave” attitude did stink, but I signed him to a contract last season, which will run out in 2 seasons time, and with his value skyrocketing, could be a nice bit of wedge if I do decide to sell. Still lacking a real quality keeper, but the South American scout job came back with a not too shabby one from Bolivia, might give him a stab and a decent 17 year old striker is available for a paltry 1.6 million quid. Hopefully the board back me with money to build on our performance this season. Still don’t get a “proper” contract, this rolling one is pretty annoying.

Just a quick update: Bermudian has now taken the clubs all time record appearances with 353 - He has also had the highest number of goals for the club for a good while.

Also Bermudas highest ever scorer, and 3 caps away from being the highest capped player ever - Truly a Legendary player.
