Canvey Island is a bit different. The chairman was the manager and the manager was the chairman, until he decided after many years, he didn't want to invest any more into the club.

As a result the club had to restructure and refinance, and asked (and were granted) demotion of a few divisions.

Shame really, they had established themselves in the Conference.
