Season 2017/18
Reasonable season, we finished 8th but blew the big one in Cups.
Plymouth handed out or biggest hiding with a 5-1 beating at Home Park.
P38, W16, D5, L17, Pts53
I'm contracted for another season so I'll give it a go.

Season 2018/19
Better.
We finished 3rd in the EPL, runners up in the FA Cup...and lost 8 members of the first team squad because they were too old.
Did I say lost? I mean ditched.
I spent (wait for it) £12m on one player ( :eek: ), a Greek defender who can play equally well on the right and left sides, and has averaged 7.70 for Sevilla over three seasons, never been injured.
Champions' Cup.

I signed on for another two years. It'll take me up to in-game age of 61.

Season 2022/23
We've done alright since Season 2017/18...but I've a piece of news and a wish for FM2008.
We've had a player retire this season, a 36 year old, who's played for The 'ammers since 2003/04, a total of 20 seasons.
Surely the option should be there to offer the guy a testimonial?
Anyways, 400 league games, 60 goals from a central midfield position...many, many thanks, fella...we appreciate it :thup:
