I'm so in sadistic love with LLM: Season 2012-2013 P46 W21 D12 L13 F55 A47 Pts 75
Wow, a challenge and a half. My team was pretty well gelled and I had some money thanks to maintaining a low budget. I'd been pushing for expansions and de nada. Finished 8th, no cups to mention of and happy to be stable. Season 2013-2014 P46 W20 D17 L9 F65 A46 Pts 77
A good season with a change in tactics and more stability. I have a bizarre obsession with signing young men, and being able to scout beyond the UK meant I was pulling in whole reams of new players that added to the squad. A moderate extension and a wage bill maintained by youth leads to success except in play-offs where I get destroyed by Palace.
Cups don't happen. Ever. Season 2014-2015 P46 W32 D8 A6 F69 A34 Pts 104
Brilliant teamwork and maintaining my penchant for quality youth ensures stability. Converting draws to wins and some quality strikers. Many old boys from the Conf Nat start showing their lack of quality (ok, it's one guy) but we stick with it to not quite cruise (pts compared to goals scored meant I didn't quite crush anyone). Cups are rubbish as always, and the Premiership beckons. Season 2015-2016 P38 W9 D17 L12 F41 A46 Pts 44
Oh. Dear. Help. Me. We started with a ton of losses and draws, waiting til December for a win against the team in 20th. Goodbye Portsmouth. A massive overhaul in mentality and tactics leads us to a much better second half, including my favouritest home victory to secure safety on the 37th game of the season, a tight 1-0 home victory to Arsenal, meaning we actually have a chance.
I've sold tons of high quality, full of potential because they all hate me and want to move to bigger clubs. It's made me a chunk of money and they have sell-on clauses, but manufacturing a competitive Premiership team is a challenge. Players easily good enough for the Championship are being culled left, right and centre.
God help Dorchester, 11 seasons, 5 promotions, a huge jump in wealth (we're actually on the top 100 and I'm the first listed favourite person) and clinging to the top with our nails.
My nerves are gone.
God bless LLM.
