Well, the new team reports will help a lot with getting to know your way around a new club. I can't really tell you about the scouting because most of the teams I went to had no scouts. Going by a general feel for the game, LLM will be more enjoyable in the new version. I also have a feeling that board expectations and the various graphics to show confidence in your performance will have a large impact on being a LLaMa.

I also foresee it becoming a tad harder due to the tactical stuff.

Can't say for sure what it will be like until we all have a few rounds with it first

I've played it briefly but am waiting till the full game is released before really getting into it.

Not being able to sort scout reports by date (provided you can get a scout to apply if you don't have one) is quite annoying.

Also it seems player stats across the board have been reduced (except for the world class ones) - especially goalkeepers. It seemed in 07 that every GK over about League 2 had agility/balance at 20.

I quite like the layout though - makes 07 look blocky.

I'm waiting like avs above me, as I want to play the whole game with a decent career and the demo just doesn't give me any kind of time to get into it.

I'd anticipate a major reworking of some things in the match engine for the patch, so anything gattling bonce says could be severely misleading anyway.

As usual the patch will be out when it's out

I'll be checking out scouting as a priority because I worry about Jimbo's blood pressure, although I'm reasonably certain his problems are beta specific.

Basically nobody can know if the game is LLM friendly while playing a six month period, in a limited database. I don't even think scouting can truly be commented on before one can get their hands on the whole game.

Other than maybe the interface, this game doesn't have a whole lot that LLM can really get excited about yet, since there's really very little ability to figure out what is going to be good or bad in the long term, and that's what LLM is about.

And I agree with what Guinness said about the database. It is a small one in the demo, so that may well affect the scout issue.

Worse than a small DB tbh, quite a few emasculated bits even with the test version, I'm sure all will be well though.
