How far down does the English league go, i.e. what is the lowest league?

I fear the team I want to be won't be in the game, but I'm not sure.

On FM08, the lowest league is the BlueSquare North/South, which is the old Conference North/South. That's two tiers down from League 2:

Premiership
Championship
League 1
League 2
BlueSquare Premier
BlueSquare North/South

I must confess I am a bit nervous...
I did not buy FM07 because 06 was too addictive, however I am about to make the big jump to FM08; I am already expecting a 50% decrease in productivity, and 30% loss of fingernails and liver due to excruciating games...

Here is a question:
It seems that in FM06 only those leagues that Sega had made arrangements with sported "real" kits, whilst others, e.g. France, Germany, were just generic jerseys...
has this been expanded in 07 & 08? what about the Lower leagues?

License issues haven't really changed, I fear. There still will be quite a lot of leagues and nations without real club/player names. But FM offers skinning functionality that doesn't interfere with the core or requires the editing of the database.

For this reason, if you want to use extra graphics for the lower league you want to play in, go on. The FM fanbase offers quite a lot.

To prove you can't please everyone a poster in GQ forum has said that they are going to edit the names of the French league teams after SI forked out for the licence because they are too long.
