Leagues loaded - all under Europe (fully patched version of FM)

So a new LLM career as my last save went AWOL. Decided this time to expand the amount of leagues loaded and decided that all leagues in all countries in Europe would do nicely. Frank picked Slatta as my starting point and so ensued my first season in Sweden.

Season: 2007
Team: Slatta
League: Swedish 2nd Division, North Svealand
Media Prediction: 4th
Swedish Cup: 1st Round

Friendlies went ok, had to get in an Ass Man which was done with no fuss. An early exit from the Swedish Cup allowed me to concentrate or trying to fulfill the boards high expectations for the season. Transfer dealings were a lost cause as no-one I could afford wanted to come so I had to rely on the squad at hand. However, despite all the pre-season excitement the team underperformed and tactically I just couldn't seem to find the system that fitted. We never got out of first gear or the relegation zone and so at the end of the season I managed to clamber to 10th to avoid automatic relegation but still had to navigate the relegation play-off. Drawn against Harmanger we drew the first leg away 1-1 with us only equalizing via a penalty. A 3-0 victory at home however made our escape from relegation complete. Overall it was a very disappointing season and hopefully better things will happen next season, here's hoping anyway.

Final Position: 10th ( 19pts )

Season: 2008
Team: Slatta
League: Swedish 2nd Division, North
Media Prediction: 10th
Swedish Cup: Not Entered

So the start of a new season and the probably naive thought that things may get better. Anyway, little action in the transfer market as other clubs nick the people I want and the rest just plain don't wanna come. However, I did manage to sign a defender. Lost my only scout to another club so had to go on a search for his replacement. This wasn't helped by the fact the board was vetoing all transfers due to dwindling funds. Friendlies were up and down but gave me a chance to adapt my system a little and we did perform a little better in the pre-season than last season. A run of 6 games undefeated with a few wins helped our cause early in the season and by half-way we're only 3 points off my points tally of the whole of last season. With four games to go we confirmed our Division 2 status for next season with a thirteen point gap between us and 10th. By the end of the season we'd almost doubled our tally from last season and improved by 4 positions in the table. In all it was a season of improvement and for the first time since taking up LLM a season without battling out of relegation not to mention a positive goal difference! Hopefully we can take this season momentum into the next an maybe try and push for promotion.

Final Position: 6th ( 33pts )

Season: 2009
Team: Slatta
League: Swedish 2nd Division, Middle Gotaland
Media Prediction: 10th
Swedish Cup: Not Entered

So into my 3rd season as Slatta manager and managed to rectify the biggest staff issue from last season, scouts. So it was time to go looking for a player or two to bolster the squad. In the end, with finances still in the danger zone, I only managed to bring in an attacking midfielder. I've also swapped leagues again for the 3rd season in a row and still not good enough to be entered into the Swedish Cup. First half of the season turns out to be an absolute stormer for us and we get to the half-way mark in 2nd place, just 3 points behind the leaders. My top striker is bagging goals and our defence, although not keeping many clean sheets, are doing well. The fans are expecting and the board are praying, could this be our year for promotion? Unfortunately though, it wasn't to be however finishing 2nd is still a great season for us. Sold our top striker for the last 3 seasons as he was wanting to move on and with the club haemorrhaging money the less paid out in wages the better. However with some good looking youth players coming through I'm not as down hearted at the loss as I could have been. All in all it's yet another good season with vast improvements in all departments, I just hope next season things are as good.

Final Position: 2nd ( 40pts )

I just hope that selling my top striker doesn't hurt us too much. Just about to start the 4th season so I guess I'll find out.

Season: 2010
Team: Slatta
League: Swedish 2nd Division, Middle Gotaland
Media Prediction: 4th
Swedish Cup: 1st Round - Skiljebo

With finances at the club deep into the red I decided it was best not to bring any new players in and rely on the youth at the club. Hopefully this won't hurt our season too badly as the core of last seasons squad is still there, minus our striker. Pre-season went well with some wins some losses, nothing new there then. However, for the first time in two season, we were entered into the Swedish Cup. Despite going out in the first round we had a better showing taking Skiljebo all the way to penalties. About halfway through the season we're sitting in 4th only 6 points off the lead. The first part of our season was up and down with mixed results but more good than bad. The press, despite our media prediction, write us off for pretty much every match but we still seem to impress and play above our position. Was offered a new contract but delayed my decision till the end of the season as I'm thinking of moving on to try another league I haven't played in. Overall it wasn't too bad of a season, not as good as last season but then, not as bad as my first. I also decided to move on and leave Slatta when the season ended and move to a different club.

Final Position: 4th ( 45pts )

Season: 2010/11
Team: Cattolica
League: Italian Serie C2C
Media Prediction: 17th
Serie C Cup: 4th in Group G (out before I joined)

So with my tenure at Slatta over I joined Italian outfit Cattolica who were currently sitting in 8th. The team looked ok, though lacking in depth, and the back room staff were decent so it was a case of familiarisation and getting on with the job. However injuries emphasised our lack of depth and our form slumped. Made a few signings in the January window to bolster the squad a little. However, things just got worse and worse as we slumped to many defeats. Ravaged by constant injuries and suspensions hardly helped either and relegation loomed. However before it could get any worse the Cattolica board sacked me. So it was off to the job centre to see where I'd go next, perhaps leaving Slatta wasn't the best of ideas.

Season: 2010/11
Team: Yildirim Bosnaspor
League: Turkish League B
Media Prediction: 3rd

No sooner had Cattolica given me the boot had Yildirim Bosnaspor offered me a job. The club currently had no assistant manager, so that was first on the list, but aside from that we were currently one position above what I think is relegation (currently in the 2nd Group Stage) and that's on goal difference. With five games left to play it meant I'd have to hit the ground running and hopefully get some results together to make sure I didn't get fired again. However it just didn't work out and after only 6 games in charge I was sacked and Yildirim Bosnaspor were relegated.

Final Position: 7th ( 37pts )
