Akropolis, Allsvenskan

Board, fans: battle bravely
Media: 14th (dead last)
Odds: 80-1
In: 8 for 123K
Out: 5 for 5M (4.4M for my DC only, who went to Liverpool )

We're off with a win, then lose 5 in a row, so I'm somewhat desperate. Somehow we beat fellow newcomers Helsingborg away, then bottom table Norrköping home, and this boosts the confidence. We win 9 from our next 10 games , go top for two weeks.

Then two experienced key members (DL and GK) are injured, and the young defence is unable to cope with the pressure. We do a 0-1-5 run, but send down Djurgardens (our former parent team) in the last round with a 2-1 win. The 5th position is more that I hoped for!

Cup run is also nice, stopped in the semis against AIK. It was in the middle of our late-season slump, so not much surprising.

Pos.: 5th W:13 D:1 L: 12 33-29 40pts
(somebody stole the draws? )

- Best avg.: Giant Polish-Swedish DRC, 7.61
- Top scorer: Cuban refugee ST (6 goals)
- Fans' POY: as always, Big Fat Greek Club Legend

Akropolis, Allsvenskan, 2016

Board: stay clear of relegation
Fans: safe mid-table
Odds: 25-1
Media: 8th

In: 9 players for 2,16M
Out: 8 for 7,1M

My best starlets have been bombarded with offers, so I let some of them leave, hoping that some highly talented players could step up and fill their place. Splashed the cash on a DC (600K), and a Lithuanian ST (400K).

There were several slight problems though.

The young players couldn't step up. The new strikers couldn't score in a brothel. My midfield was running around like headless chickens. My playmakers were giving more balls away than a major sports company. My defence was leaking in goals everywhere. My tactics sucked. Pretty much everything sucked.

We started with 3 losses (conceding 10 goals in the process), then climbed back to mid-table obscurity. When I thought we should have a pressure free season, things fell apart, and we fell into the bottom half, suffering some humiliating defeats.

At half way through I realised that I needed some defensive tweaking, so in came an experienced DM/AMC from Norway and a Finnish DC for 1,2M. There were some improvements, but they never lasted long.

We were winless in our last 5 games (not even scoring in the last four), but thanks to a lucky 0-0 draw against IFK Göteborg, our ass was saved from relegation playoffs. But only because of a superior goal difference to Vastra Frölunda.

Massively, massively disappointing season, and in general awful performance. I think we've had one good game throughout the year. Home record was scandalous with only 2 wins...

Pos.: 11th
P: 26 W: 6 D: 7 L: 13 26-42 25 pts

Note, that we gained two point less than the season when we relegated...
---

Top Goalscorer: Wasteful Finnish talent, 6 goals
Best avg.: solid Swedish DC, 7,10
Fans' POY: Wasteful Finnish talent

I'm listed as 'under-pressure', board&fans are only satisfied.

I was handed a shiny new 3-year contract, but can find myself in the job center pretty soon, if I don't deliver next year.

A board takeover has collapsed, chairman is looking to leave.

Some thrilling talents will come for next year, I can only hope they gel well.

The pressure is on.

ILooking back, I think we were way much overperforming two years ago, and it fired back on us.

Eh, forgot the cup.

Shown the exit by fellow Allsvenskan team Gefle in the 3rd round (1-0 AET)

Forgot another thing.

My godlike Finnish DC, whom I sold to Liverpool was sold on to WHU, after not breaking into the first team.

We recieved 6,6M due to his 50% sell-on clause \o/

How can you look bad? We LLaMas appreciate success as well as failure. And as thus, you can never fail us, as long as you are keeping up with the rules & guidelines.
