Mutiny in three acts
12/13 Ukrane High League - Dnipro
(1) A third of the season through, with only one new addition to the team, we were lying third and a good ten points behind Shakhtar. So I quit due to players and board discomfort.
(2) It took less than a week for Rennes hired me. They were 17th (out of 20), and the board just asked to stay clear of relegation. In ten games, we managed to move up to ninth, but the team was doomed: our best MC was sold due to a cheap clause from its standing contract, and the players and board blamed it on me! Everyone was unhappy and we started aquaplanning...
(3) After a losing streak that dropped us back to 17th, and a decisive match against Lens where we lost 1-9, I had enough. So I quit and went on vacation...
During my stint in Rennes I also managed to losein the League Cup, but the team was doing well in the French cup...
