I've read about teams like Rushden being 'easy' LLM teams, good for beginners but never for a proper LLMer ands the like, but just wondering how close to this are the 'Boro?
I'm using them currently as they were the first 08 eligible English team Frank gave me (after Salisbury and Lancaster), but I've been surprised at how easy it's been with them. Managed to get two scouts quickly, who found me good players (including a couple of super loan signings). More importantly however, the financial state of the club is "extremely healthy" according to the board, to the point where I started with a transfer budget. In real life they're moving into a nice new stadium in 2008 too I believe.
Obviously promotion from the Conference North is only one small step, but are they regarded as one of the easier LLM teams to manage in England?
I go to Frank, take whatever club he gives me from a country I decide myself, and I follow the guidelines.
Just is feeling like a Conference National or League Two game at the moment, in comparison to the other clubs at my level. So I was interested in views from more experienced LLMers.
If you think it's too easy, and that takes the fun out of it, then by all means, start again or resign from Nuneaton, whatever it takes for you to enjoy it.
If you are perfectly happy with playing with a decent team, then continue your game. Sure, it may be easy this season, but if you get promoted to the Blue Square Premier (is that right?) then it'll be a different game entirely.
