Just finished my first ever game of FM08, a fantastic 4-1 defeat at Eastleigh.
I see the new additions have not stunted my managerial 'development'...

I randomised and ended up at Thurrock. Never managed them before either.

| I got them in the demo - good solid midtable team with potential, I think I had them around 3rd or 4th when the demo ended.
Will probably start with Solihull, although debating whether or not to wait for the first patch or just plow right through, given I haven't had too many issues with the demo.

I agree Lee. I started with three straight wins, then things went pear shaped.
Like most seasons I play, promises much, delivers little.

Just started a game with Hucknall Town. I hadn't even reached Game 1 before the fans began their disappointment with me. A 7-1 home friendly defeat to a team below the BSN/S never helps cement a new relationship though.
My first official competitive game on FM08: a 2-0 defeat at Blyth that should have been about 10-0.
