Following a rant in another thread ...

I wondered what's the furthest into the game years wise people have got and is it a 50 year limit?

Is there anyone who has been a LLM version of Rochdale and stayed in the BSN or BSS for a million years or whatever they have been stuck in League 2?

I've seen people get to 2025 in their FM07 saves but I am guessing with FaceGen people will be tempted to stay longer.

I am wondering just how much a LLM game can give you as I am planning to start a new save and as I have found I now don't like life outside the bottom division I may well find myself helping a number of little clubs achieve their dreams if I am the right man for the job.

I have seen this posted in another forum a few days ago, I think one guy was still playing FM07 and in year 2073.

Think he said that Shrek had a very brief reign as Man Utd manager.

I personally have never got past 2020 in previous versions of the game. Currently upto Dec 2012 in my current save.

My current FM06 save is somewhere in 2043 iirc.

Had a CM01/02 game into 2151, but I holidayed the first 148 seasons. There is a user who actually played far into the 22nd century, can't remember his name btw.

Luan played well into the XXIInd Century 60's IIRC in 0102.

I did a FM06 career which saw me reach the last years of the XXIst century.

Some here won't create a new save until the current one gets corrupted. It saves you going through the first 20 seasons again. That's if you can cope with the slowness of long term play and huge load/save times
