Just jumped ship to a Portuguese team playing in division 2 - group B, I think. My question is regarding the promotion and relegation system.

How does it work? I've seen a post about here about someone finishing in 7th place and still getting relegated via play-offs. Any help appreciated.

It's not very clear. Simply put you really have to finish 6th. Finishing 7th can get you relegated.

The bottom teams in the league play in groups of four. The best two teams of these groups stay up, numbers three and four get relegated. That's what happened to me... :thdn:

I nearly ended up in Portugal myself, Frank of last year sent me to a club called Futbol Clube Uniao de Lamas or something, I thought Lamas, I was MEANT to manage there. But once the game had loaded, the Lamas were no longer in a playable league.

Frank then sent me to Norway to another club that wasn't playable. I was sure I had wronged Frank in a past life in some way, and then ended up in Helmond in Holland.

Let me know if you come across these Lamas in Portugal!

Looked up these Lamas and they came up last year (2008/09). Won the league, promotion group and got promoted. I'm all confused now that Lamas are not even LLaMas anymore

I know I was disappointed as they appear to be in the right division to be playable, but I had all available divisions and after searching the club down there was no "Control club" option. I really wanted to be Lamas LLaMa aswell
