Howdy chaps, just wondering why the release date is the 13th? I've just noticed that's a Thursday and it's Da Law in the UK trhat games aren't released 'til Friday.

I know it's Easter on Friday but there's other games coming out on the Friday that week.

I certainly ain't complaining but was interested in the how as well as why.

The Friday is a bank holiday, so we're releasing on the Thursday.

If other games are releasing on the Friday, that's up to them, but some of the shops will be shut, so....

That's why I asked I've just noticed more and more these days more and more shops don't shut on bank holidays, not here in Manchester at least.

Though I always thought it was some law that games had to be released on Fridays? I know in the past Champ games have been released a day early (CM4 I was nearly caught out on ) so I'm in no means complaining, I just wasn't sure it was 'allowed' by stores/law.
