will the game be updated at all e.g when the transfer window closes on 1st of september will you guys update our 2006 version of the game so th e[layers are at the right teams?

I think there will be a new version out aroung the same time the Pc one comes out.

I could be wrong though

As for the original question, I've read from a couple of SI peeps on here in the past that they were looking into Marketplace update downloads, but they aren't sure if it was possible yet, if I remember right.

it's possible, the issue is more if its feasible. it may be an incredible amount of work. there's a point where it would just be too much to do.

That is true. I think what they could do though is maybe release data updates on the market place like they do with the pc version. I aint botherd if i dont get out else but just a few updates etc.

Based on the thinking that an FM '07 on the 360 would indeed be a possibility, the game would reasonably take a good 12 months to develop so would miss the September '06 summer transfer window (assuming that, like FM '06, the next version will include January transfers).

So the most likely event I'd guess would be a Marketplace download in September, though I agree with Gaz, if there's alot of work involved I wouldn't expect SI to see a need in more than that 1 update (that's not meant as an insult of course, I'd say the same about any busy software company and I believe 1 September update would be the most logical if updating is indeed that time-consuming a process anyway).
