Gryste is infamous around these parts
Default Match Highlights

OK I have the game for the 360 but the match highlights are realy bad to watch.
I have a standard widescreen TV not HD so I put this problem down to the crappy res that standard can do.
What I mean by bad is that the dots take up large chuncks of the field and you cant see anything apart from dots. With the player names this just becomes a mess.

Also Tactics the player possitions look out of alignment midfield comes up as being in an attacking midfield possition and the defence line looks more like its in the midfield. It wasnt like this for champ 01/02 for the xbox.

Again I put this down to my TV.

Can someone tell me who has a HDTV if these problems are resolved or not.

HD tv's do indeed have a larger resolution and so this will give the effect of everything being spaced out more on the pitch.

So yes in answer to your question

Thanks

So basically if you don't have HDTV the match engine isn't worth watching?

I really, really hope that's not the case.

i have a 32 inch philips HD tv and i can tell you, all the things Gryste has said is still evident with HD. The 2d players on match highlights is too big, sometimes you dont know where the ball is and also on the tactics screen the player positions are off. the defenders look more like midfielders and when you put the defenders back to how it is on the pc, the positions change to sweeper which i think they could hav done better. But i like the game once i got used to the controls. I dont know how to save shortlists to the hard drive though. If anyone knows how, let me know thanks. Oh yea, one more thing, when you go to player profile, cant you take the graphical attributes off all together so when i click profile i see his stats straight away instead of a graph???
