I'm really tempted by FM2006 on the 360 but really want to see what the speed of the game is like, the way it plays on my PC these days is why I've stopped playing and the 360 could be my saviour.
I don't think there are any plans to release a Demo at this time but this may change in the future. In terms of speed, if you don't have a high end machine you'll see a massive increase in performance on the 360 version as it makes use of the three cores it has available to process matches.

Yeah I found the other post asking the same question below just after I posted this, apologies for not searching.
Is it something to do with the Hard Drive requirement thats stopping SI releasing a demo?
Been a long time since i've popped on here, good to see you guys are still looking after us lot as always.
Ive decided to put my faith in Olly and Paul once more and give those robbing bassa's at Game £50 for FM2006, I hope it's a good one, things just arent the same without FM in my life, me and the missus hardly argue these days.
Any chance of a Demo for the Xbox360?
