Anyonelse fallen back in love with Football Manager?
I never realy got addicted to playing the last few Footbal manager games and thought maybe I was just getting bored of it because I had played the old Championship Manager series so much.
Championship Manager 4 was dissapointing and I just lost intrest from there really. I thought I wuld buy the 360 version for the on-line achievments and a few other things but didn't really think I would be playing it much.
Last night I was playing the game from midnight untill 3 30 in the morning and I love it. I like the new stats where you can see how many shots or passes a player has made in each game and in the season as a whole and how many have been on target and tackling etc.
The news is more detailed for example if a player signs for a club it will say where he was previously and how many games he played his old club etc.
I never really played the PC version so don't know if the PC version has all that. The game runs at a nice pace and and the players in the highlights are more clever ie trying t win throw ins and corner kicks off opponents.
I wish they filled the whole tv screen when 2d mode kicks in rather than having a big border of grass around the pitch and shame can't run more leagues but other than that I love it though when I do team talks no players say they agree with me being angry with them or thanking me for praising them.
I gave Garcia an injection to he could play in my next game, hope he is ok but Gerrard rejected the injection.
I noticed one bug in the game though which is Cisse scoring a hatrick against Newcastle and then in the news it said Cisse skillfull forward (as if) and if that wasn't bad enough it said he was a lethal finisher . I think I deserve more than 5 points for having a player scoring a hatrick especially as it was Cisse.
So many nice small touches to the game add to the gameplay and the game runs fast even though it still has plenty of deph, only bad thing is I can't play all the leagues in England then top 2 in Spain and italy because that wuld be 11 leagues and it only handles 10.

I admit I wasn't too exited with the 2D match engine originally so CM4 is by far my least played of all the CM's.
FM '05's match engine looked and behaved better but I was still put off originally. It took me until the end of its 'life' and FM '06 to finally realise how good the match engine actually is. I don't think more than 3 days have gone by that I've not played FM '06 since its release, on PC or X Box. It is without doubt the greatest game ever made, and I don't make those sorta statements often.

First of all i would like to apologize for my bad English (I´m from Denmark)
I bought the game yesterday, and so far i'm pleased with the game. But I have one complain.
I like to create my own tactics and set up the players instructions individually. But it annoys me that you can't see a playerprofile, when you are in the instructions screen. You have to go through 2-3 pages everytime you want to see the profile.
I would like to see the playerprofile and instructions in splitscreen if possible, or at least it schould be possible to switch between the two pages by only pressing one button.
I hope this is something SI will thing about for the next installment of this in many other ways brilliant game.

Me. I haven't been able to get into CM/FM since Champ 01/02, because I haven't had a high end PC to run the game at an enjoyable speed. Then FM 360 comes along, I didn't know what to expect - but I picked up the controls within 15 minutes and am completely loving it.
Good job boys!

I am also used to the controls now so think I will start again as i know what I am doing more now.
I dont know how to edit the training and assaign certain coaches for that part of training though and the other bad thing is when it is half time I can give team talk but can't make a sub so I have to start second half then press Y (I think) to bring up my tactics.
