Are we able to praise one of our players after a game, and I don't mean post game talks. Like one of my players played well above his pay grade and secured a most important win for my team. I would like to have a player interaction were I can commend him on helping me and the team win the game, like an option saying "Your last performance was unbelievable" or "great game, I appreciate your extraordinary effort yesterday".

Or even on the flip side, tell a player after a loss that I expected more out of him. Just some sort of interaction that can boost or negate how much a player likes me/club and that doesn't pertain to post game team talks.

In their next game (pre-match team talk) you can tell them that you expect better or that you want them to pick up where they left off.

Only other way is just by either telling them you think they're in good or bad form.

Yeah, 'expect better' seems to provide a suitable nudge at times too.
