I've let one in before in a crucial play-off game. All we had to do was keep the score to 0-0 to half time (we'd won the first leg 3-1)

But my midfielder passed back to the 'keeper who stood and watched it as it rolled slowly past him. the keeper, no more than two feet away, turned slowly to watch as it trickled past him and into hte back of the net.

We lost 2-0 and went out on away goals.

I think the opposition goalkeeper throwing the ball straight into his own net is pretty bizarre. That and the goal kick that hits my striker, inexplicably standing in the box, then he controls it and scores. Against the rules? Yes. Do I care? Not really.

Playing FM06, I had a few very close shaves as my keeper completely ignored long balls and defenders had to scramble to clear it off the line... where the keeper already was. There was never a goal from it, though. Was that a documented bug?

I remember in FM05 my keeper scored twice from kicking out of his hands in a 2-1 victory. In 07 a couple of times when the opposition keeper miskicked the ball outside of his box my player scored from 40ish yards.

I think it was FM 05 where Matthew Upson scored on me, from the corner flag, on the other end of the pitch. Of course the wind was gale force toward one end at St. Andrews where goal kicks were going maybe 30 yards into the wind.
