Not just the fees but the valuations of some youth players, particularly those at clubs with higher reputations. They seem way too high to me, obviously I can't predict how much some of these players may get sold for in real life. However, I'm in 2010 and Bolton just bought Chelsea's Ryan Bertrand for £11m! He's never played a league game for Chelsea, and has only played 55 league games with only half of them as half as the Championship at a total rating of 6.44.
how old is he? i buy players for the future... lots of teams do look at arsenal .Theo Walcott for example played 21(4) games for Southampton and they paid 12 mill for him.... lol
He's 20 years old and an England Under 21. Walcott had at least played a few games and built up a reputation. But it is really that likely of Chelsea to let go a player like that, if he was really any good?
well, maybe chelsea feel they can get a more talented DL for £11m, whilst Bolton are struggling to attract quality players but have the money to spend?
