I've stopped playing when I realised, that the original game was crap. I just want to know, is the game finally playable with the official patch. I've played some matches after installing it, and I was sh*t with my Liverpool team. Am I doing something wrong or the game got harder to achive glory, or simply the match engine is still not working?
Thanks for advance!

How on earth can you say it was playable out of the box? The only way you can say that ws if you didn't watch the game. Players running 60 yards without a tackle being made isn't a playable game....now the engine is good.

I've had mixed experiences after patching. In one save, I was either winning 5-0, 6-0 or losing by the same scoreline. In another save, (the one I'm still playing) I'm enjoying myself very much, winning, losing, drawing, etc...
But there is still margin for improvement imho...

No, its not good and don't listen to the blind fanboys. Especially those who claim that the game was playable out of the box. These people just prove that a) have a twisted version of how football is played, b) have never really played the game in any depth, c) don't have a problem paying for unfinished games.
The truth is that the ME, as it is now, has major potential. Nothing more. Wait for a patch or really don't bother with the game if you want a serious management simulation of football until it is fixed.

Its better but it still has many problems such as closing down still not working as it should (maybe im unable to set it properly because of the retarded sliders), goalkeepers standing way too far from the goal, morale causing top players to play below L1 level, too many long shots and actual goals from waaay too far, players unable to score from gazillion of one on one chances and so on.
I guess they fix one thing and break something else so that the match scores seem realistic.
