ive just started my second season, just been promoted to league 2 with woking, the transfer window isn't open, but yet other teams are already starting to loan players but i cant, the option is greyed out?
AFAIK you can only loan players during the transfer window.
Secondly, have a read of the rules for the competition you're in, some leagues place restrictions on the number and types of loans (e.g. no lona from teams in the same league, etc.).
you can only do an "end of season" loan during the transfer window. Throughout the season you can loan for up to 3 months I think.
I am sure you can loan players from English leagues all the time, but you cannot loan players from abroad if hte transfer window is closed.

Same of course applies for sending players out on loan btw, there are only a few nations where you can send your players during the season, in case that is of any interest.
yeah that all makes sense. and now that the window is open i can loan fine.
but i still don't understand why other teams were loaning players, before the window was open?
Some teams have a player on season-long loan and as the loan is nearly over, they seek to extend the loan another year, typically around June 23-26, so maybe that's what you saw?
please help, why cant i loan anyone?
