I don't do it often, very rarely in fact. However, I thought I'd go on holiday for my next match and tick this option and the 'use current tactics' option. I sim the match, see that I lost 1-0. I thought fair enough. I take a look at the team selection and despite having three FIT GK's, my AM decides to play my only left back in goal. At left back he plays my DM. Now I told him to use MY selection. I had a young GK selected in goal obviously. I had my left back at left back, surprisingly. So why is my AM playing my LB in goal?

Not quite. Because he put my LB in goal, he used my DM at LB. The DM he used wasn't in my selection! He also decided to play a DC from my reserves! :eek:

I have no problems with my AM playing my selected team correctly except he chooses loads of young players as subs but never uses them unless there's an injury
