Default Starting in Premiership...Boring?

I have always started a game in either div1 or div2 with quite a lot of success.
I then tried in championship and still enjoyed it,but not as much.
So i tried being arsenal in prem.

I found it boring as i could litarally buy anyone i wanted and i could win nearly all the time ~(played 20 won 12 drew 6 lost 2).

I prefer to struggle at first and find real bargains and good older players who nobody else wants........

How does everybody else like to play the game?

So true. I started in the Blue Square North with Workington and an automatic reputation. So much more rewarding when you move to a different club. You know it's because of the work you've done as a manager, not because you've got money and great players. Now I'm at Seville (my 8th club).

SwaRFeGa you've just inspired me to go and start a new career in the lower divisions - not sure which one yet! Do you recommend any clubs I could start out with?

I started out with MK Dons. We're now in the Premiership, currently second, with a UEFA Cup under my belt. It's very satisfying

To be honest, the teams are all the same in Blue Square North, it's all about the free transfers you can pick up. I spent ages (and I really mean ages) searching for free transfers. I didn't start an actual match for a week. So it's only for the patient ones amongst you

Well personally I prefer to work with a top flight team, that way I know the players and hell, it's not like it's a walk in the park.
However I do enjoy starting a bit lower down, I had much succes with Sheff U in 07 and once again in 08 although it was harder on this version.

I think its good to do both although i would never start as one of the big 4 (no challenge) and i would never start below division 1 because i will never play further than 10 seasons on this version (dodgy player development).
