RS-5 is my take on a Windows Vista Skin. I know a lot of skins have been inspired by Vista's release (Evolution, Aero) but RS-5 mirrors the interface as closely as possible whilst still retaining a user friendly environment. Also unique ideas have been implemented to make a truly different skin.

Obviously certain alterations had to be made to aid useability or were forced by the skinning options available (dark popup menus, slightly larger start button, dark background to dialog boxes/SITV). Otherwise this is the closest to Vista your FM07 will get.

Vista look and feel

Unique tree menu design - mimics the start menu on the left during normal play and the Vista Sidebar on the right during a match

Introducing 2 new facepack sizes: 'Fatboy' (200x256) and 'Superwide' (256x330) - larger pictures than ever before. However, RS-5 is backward compatible too. Large (140x180) and regular (95x95) facepacks work perfectly with no side effects. In fact any size from 1x1 to 256x330 fits fine. The skin also puts a Vista style frame around every picture.

Analyser polygon is now a circle. It colour changes with team colours and also displays the team crest.

Flashing 'News' button - News button flashes like a program needing attention when new news is in your inbox.

good skin but it seems a little hard to recognise which is new news and which is old. Maybe change the font to yellow? Also on the news when seeing a players profile , a box would make it look better, otherwise excellent skin

Been waiting for this. There's been some decent skins done but this is class! Right hand side version would be nice but I'm not complaining when it's this good.

Superb mate. Couple of things for me though. The news, As said above can't really tell what new and whats old. Players stats, All look too similar. Could change higher stats, +15 and above to a different colour that would stand out more ?

Love what you have done with the players pictures and the Analyser Polygon - Colour Changing.

All in all, love it. Very nice work indeed. :thup:

Read news - I'd totally agree with that, one of those things I'd overlooked.

Player Stats - I think it's as useable as the default differences. If people prefer more of a contrast then it's dead easy to change.

Shevagol - The Match Overview. It's supposed to be that way with the logos not fitting in.
