When I save a picture of a club logo on the internet, it always has a white background. This looks really bad in the game and I don't know how to remove the white background so only the logo is displayed. The game developers have done it and I have seen countless mods that have also been successful doing this. How do I do it?
I think you'll have to get gimp 2 or Photoshop, there's a little cut out tool you can use on that, can't remember what the name was, it's been months since I used Photoshop, I should get back into it really.
I've played around with photoshop for about 4 hours now and still no success. I would appreciate it if you could find out the name of that "little cut tool".
In Photoshop, use the 'Magic Wand' tool. This'll allow you to select the white area/background. When you have the area selected as you want, pick the eraser tool and erase the background inside of the dashed marquee created with the magic wand.
Tip: When you have the magic wand tool picked there should be a 'tolerance' box at the top of the screen. Adjust this to change the amount of shades, or colours, the magic wand will select based on each click of the magic wand.
For example: If your selections are picking too much, back-off on the tolerance. If you're getting little tiny selections of colour, bump it up. I usually use about 20-30 tolerance for most stuff.
