Hi guys ,this is my first try at downloading/changing skins so please be gentle with me.
I downloaded Aero skin to ...data/skins folder in my ganme.There it was with flexion and flexion_right in the correct folder.
Loaded my game ,preferences,sound and display...clicked on the drop down skin button ...just the 2 flexions skins there!
Went back into my skin folder,decided afer a while i needed to move the aero_left folder up a level,so in my skin folder now there is the 2 flexion skins,aeroV2point5 and aero_left folders.
loaded game..preferences ,sound and display,clicked on drop down skin and theres the aero_left skin with the 2 flexions.
Clicked on aero_left skin.the guys name etc showed so i thought here we go.
Un ticked use skin cashe.
Ticked always reload skin on confirm.
Pressed confirm...screen dulled ,box came up with loading new skin please wait ...and that was it.The computer didnt appear to be doing anything ,just stayed that way ,no sounds or flashing lights ,just looked dead.
After 15 mins decided it wasn`t working,screen and cursor were frozen ,had to switch off pc using standby button.

What am i doing wrong ,please help as id love to try a different skin.

For starters the skin should go into My
Documents/Sports/Football Manager 2007/Skins
If that folder doesn't exsist, Make one called Skins

Make sure you put Both Aero folders into the skin folder. Aero And Aero_RightOr if they are named differently, You get the gist. Then untick skin cache, Tick Always Reload Skin in the preferences in the game and your new skin should be there.

Don't Forget To Delete The Folders You Put Into The First Place Where You Put The Skins before.
