im new on here but have been playing since the days of cm and now fm.

i never used any patches or anything,just always muddled along till the new version.i now want to start a new game managing england just to keep me occupied till fm08.

thing is wayne rooney has a 2 match ban that doesnt expire,meaning he cant be picked,any ideas how i can patch this???

This was sorted in the first patch but you must start a new game for it to take effect. You only need to download and install the 7.0.2 patch as it includes the 7.0.1 fixes.

ya i have this in motion at the moment.

its at 20% complete and says estimated time left over 2 hours,this is surely wrong???

take it you're downloading from SIgames.com?

i believe you just install it & start a new game using the new db you downloaded.
