I'm working on creating a world class striker. So basically I set his current ability and potential ability both at 200. I made all the stats I want and I know a striker would need high. However after being 2-3months in the game his stats always drop. I just wanna know what the maximum values I can use. E.g. If my PA is 200, does that mean I can use 200points towards raising my attribute. Does it mean I can use 230? I just wanna know how I can create this player to be the best that is possible without making his stats drop.
It doesn't really mean that no....the algorithm relating actual attributes to CA is quite complex, I think, and SI are not keen to share it with us.
I've tried to work it out, but if you take a good player as an example, and add up all his stats, it will come to more that the CA....
Some attributes count negatively too, like how dirty they are, and some I think will "use" more CA than others...it is a guess, but I suspect that you've max'ed out too many attributes on your player?
Take a look at an existing player and use him as base, that is my advice. Make sure you lower something if you want to raise something.....
If you are creating a player with a whole bunch of attributes maxed out and the moment you enter the game they are lower THEN it's because you have too many maxed out attributes.
If on the other hand you are below the "limit" , start off a game fine (meaning no drop) but then see a drop later on, it's an age issue.
A number of posts on these boards have mentioned this in the past. I tried it and got the same results.
With both CA and PA set at 200
Age 27 and above = no drop.
Age 26 and below = drop sooner or later.
As others have mentioned, just pick a base copy and add some numbers until you go past the "limit". It's time consuming and can be frustrating.
