I have a couple of newbie questions:

I see alot of people talking about setting players to "run onto ball" when setting up tactics. I cannot find this option..

I see some tell to set target man, but not tick the box for "use target man". Does this actually have any effect? Same question with the playmaker.

In the players instructions screen there is an option to "run with the ball " often shortened to RWB. With this instruction checked, the player will run at opponenets but this will only be effective if he has a high attribute for dribbling and pace. Usually given to wingers and wing backs.

If you choose to select a target man then you really need to check the option to use him for it to have any effect. Your target man should be big and strong and be able to hold the ball up and be a good header/jumper.

If you have a gifted player, ususally but not always in the midfiled, then you can set him as playmaker and he will be that target for most of the balls throuigh your midfield. He would need to be good in creativity and passing for ity to be effective.

Target man doesn't always have to be tall or good at heading, you could use someone who is good at holding up the ball and has good creativity then set the "target man supply" to feet or mixed.
