Has anyone had a game and compared the results of players at the start of a season and at the end?

Just on this topic, when your assistant manager reports on who's improved and who hasn't with particular parts of training at the end of the month, should you look to increase the level of training in areas where players haven't impressed? (Example: say player X has not impressed in ball control. Should you aim to increase the amount of ball training, or decrease as they are just not suited to the training?)

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.
