I'm currently in charge of crewe and I can't score any goals and am just conceding every 10 minutes. I don't understand. I'm all over the opposition, creating countless chances most of which are "there's only one outcome here". Then every single chance the opposition gets goes in and they are doing nothing! I can't explain it. I won my first games 4-0 and 3-0 and have just collapsed.
I've got a choice of aaritalo, maynard, nemeth and fraizer campbell up front. They should be hammering league 1 football.
My midfield is decent with seth johnson, gary roberts, jody morris and ryan lowe.
And a decent back 4, billy jones, stam (not jaap), mcready and woodards.
Can't remember my keepers name, hes some 35 yr old from morroco or sumwhere, hes pretty good.
I've got 2 tactics that ive been trying to use and I cant see any problems with them.
The MC between MC and LM arrows back to DMC
The AMC arrows back to cover the MC that drops back to DMC
one SC defensive mentality, low creativity and forward runs never or mixed
the other attacking mentality and forward runs mixed or often
the RB to get forward where possible and give width on the right.
Crams midfield while still leaving 2 strikers, the AMC tears defenses apart,
1 striker dropping back gives room for through balls, and often pounces on blocked shots or rebounds.
I'm sorry, aleena, but your tactic doesn't make sense to me... I mean your team is already off-balanced, with no RM - why asking the poor RB to go forward when he's gotten his hands full performing defensive duties?
