Isn't it always the same. Now that I have the patch installed i'm struggling to choose a team from my own team - Rangers to who in the EPL to be.

Looking for a challenge/career game or do I start with the familiar players from Rangers to get used to the systems. With easier attempt into the Champions league and a squad of players that only need slight adjustment to push on.

Do i try the EPL with a big team for easier ride to find my feet with tactics, etc. Do you pick a team outside the big four & try to gatecrash the big four and get into the champions league places.

Is it the Championship for a team to promote and build for survival in the EPL the following season or do I go even lower to the CCL1 to try to resurrect the fallen giants that are Leeds & Nottingham Forest.

Does anyone else have this FM08 dilema?

Seeking a new challenge. Playing with Valencia (my favourite team) is way too easy. Didnt want to open a new thread, so am posting here.
Anyway i am looking into taking a Championship Club (Small or Sleeping Giant) to Premier League and become a force to be reckoned with.
What i require is a team:
1) With good young players with potential. So that i dont have to replace entire 11 team to compete in the Premiership.
2) At least a bit of transfer budget enough to land a player or two (Maybe around 1 Mill Pound)
3) A bit of reputation so that at least i can attract decent players on loan.
Would appreciate a response to my query.
