have you come across any players like this in FM2008? in my Liverpool game I expected Gerrard to be hitting them every other game, but he's probably only scored a couple of screamers.

Since they came out with the final patch, there seem to be less long range efforts that go in. Players used to blast them in from all over before the patch but now its much harder. Same is the game with free kicks. They've reduced the number of goals that are scored through free kicks.

There's still way too many goals from fk for me likee.

A lot of the goals coming from free kicks are scored from deflections now, unlike previous versions where the player would score on a well placed shot (which I'd actually prefer).

ironic you should mention that...just scored 2 defelected shots in one game from fk...I think now it doesn't matter who takes your free kicks...Rafael Marques has 3 fk's so far this season as I don't set the taker just to prove the point.
