I have just taken over newcastle in 2011 and am shocked at the number of english players at the club they are:

Joey Barton
Alan Smith
Steven Taylor
Andy Carroll
Shola Ameobi
Peter Ramage

I have since bought jermaine pennant for 220k(baragain). I am going to build a team around a core of english players



Any Suggestions?

Try John Bostock from Crystal Palace he had quite good potential

Wayne Rooney (D-oh!)
Micah Richards (Obvious)

Nedum Onuoha
Stewart Downing
Shaun Wright-Phillips
Theo Walcott (on the right wing, not striker)
Dean Ashton
Scott Carson (not as first choice though)
Rhys Murphy (decent striker)
Jack Hobbs
Michael Mancienne
