How long will it take for a player to obtain a work permit if I have sent my players on loan to another club. For instance, i have sent my Brazilian left back to Atwerp on loan, how long should it take for him o come to be eligable?

try offering him a new contract first. i did it with rafinha at bolton and he got a work permit on acceptance of the new contract

Its between 2-5 years I think, depending on the country your feeder club is in.
You can try to offer your player a new contract every year. When signing a new contract, they need to apply for a WP again. Sometimes you get lucky and they granted a WP.

I signed Aguero on the last day of the transfer window leaving no time to get a WP granted. I was told to send the player out on loan and wait for a WP to be granted, i couldnt be bothered so offered him a new contract. He accepted and there are no more issues, he is available for all games and is just as though he got given a WP in the first place. Hope this helps  | |
