If you are Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, then forget it. You'll have to pay over 100M to get him. If you're someone besides these (I mean the big clubs like Barca, Milan etc), then you'll still have to offer something like 80M+ to get him.

I dont think he gets unsettled so you're out of luck there. Try to keep offering money and maybe he'll become unhappy. Then you can go in for the kill. It'll be hard till Wenger is manager at Arsenal though. He's on Fab's favoured personnel list so its very hard to lure him away.

Well, I'm managing Man Utd, and I signed him for 72M in the third season. I just kept trying to unsettle him. I think I bid at least 10 times before he got unsettled.
And in my opinion, he is well worth that money. After playing him along with Hargreaves, they just bossed the midfield for my Man Utd and made everything easy.

I found him easy to unsettle, it even came to the stage where he was so excited about joining my team that his agent offered me his services. However, as explained above, Man Utd (my team) have no chance of getting an offer accepted easily. I offered £50M and it got rejected thats my limit i have no more money so looks like he's staying put.


**As an experiment i offered Arsenal £60M and Crisitano Ronaldo part exchange who they have tried to signed on many occassions for around £40M yet my offer was still rejected!!!
