I'd second that motion, simply for the fact they dislike Tamworth.

Stafford dominated and scored in the final, twice. Unfortunately for them, one of those goals was an own goal so they went to extra time, where Carshalton scored a lucky goal and won.

Nuneanton got to the conf north semi finals and lost there.

Season 2014/2015 Burscough - Conference National

Favourites for promotion, just like last year. A bad start saw us upper mid-table and 10 points behind the leaders after 12 games. Then we played liked we had to, but never got over the 10 point deficit. It got pretty tense in the end oly just securing a playoff spot, but I did it again anyway.

We really took a lot more goals than previous seasons, but we scored more too, so it's not so much of a problem.

5th P:46 W:22 D:11 L:13 Gf:73 Ga:53 G.D.:+20 Pts: 77 On to the play-offs!!!

We get Stafford again. Seeing how we dominated them last play-offs, this shouldn't be a problem

Semi finals:

Burscough - Stafford: 0-0
Stafford - Burscough: 2-1 (due to dodgy penalty for Stafford)
31 shots to 15 in my favour both matches combined. Arse.

Stafford win the finals by dominating Stevenage

Cups were only good for giving a young home grown striker some chances to play.

Transfers: made 10 signings for a total of 10k, sold 3 for a total of 91k, of which 2 signings from last year (experienced defender (16k) and young rightback (75k)). Almost had my hands on a great striker, but could only offer him €875/week in wages. Board stated I have enough wage funds available, after 5 years they still don't seem to get it that we're in conf national.

Also got second signing of the season. It was just a winger I picked up for backup.

last year's siging promising all-around striker was League Top Scorer with 29 goals. Most Assists was my left winger who already had 2 POTY awards, with 22 assists.
The dreaded POTY award was for promising all-around striker. Last year's POTY's stats slumped and i dumped him.

I think Stafford are finally getting on my nerves. This is the 3rd promotion they cost me. I'd even say Stafford are the new Nuneanton!

Lost 50k agian, avg. attendance dropped to 500. But why?

no money = no professional, and it seems I've hit some sort of glass ceiling. I've never in the whole of my FM career managed to get a team from the conference to the League, and I am determined to do so now, else I'd be long gone from the stupid board and the retarded fans.

KUTGW

Come on get Burscough to the League.

I have found that I don't mind being beaten in cups as long as I get beaten by the eventual winners. It is when I get beaten by a Conference National Side(I am still in Conference South with Weymouth)who that then gets knocked out by a non league team(below Conference South) in the next round that it p***es me right off.

If the other team plays better than mine, I'm usually okay with losing, because I have something to blame that I can alter (tactics, players, etc..). It's only that when I play better, and the only thing standing between me and victory is just some FM irregularity, and I've just got bad luck that I'm disappointed.

Then again, I don't really mind going out of cups all that much

I,shockingly enough, like the cups. It means I can see how my team performs against higher league clubs(depending on the draw). Plus as my club is bleeding money as if it was a permenant blood donor it gives me some income.
