When I read a CM manager manual years ago it said something windy and stormy weather negatively effects long balls. Whether that still applies i don't know.

I don't remember seeing any visual effects of wind on FM.

I have, Simon, but it wasn't consistent throughout a match, it was just at random points, and in seemingly random directions, too.

I can understand the 'swirling in fierce gusts' when at a ground with high stands, but it's just lame when the stands are really more like cattle sheds merely designed to keep the worst of the rain off.
