(1) How low is lower league?
I know that LLM is much more than a mere technical definition, nay 'tis a way of being, but if anyone would be kind enough to proffer an answer that would be grand. One of the reasons that I'm asking is I'm currently stuck as to whether to manage Leigh RMI in BS North, Cambridge Utd in BS Premier or Leeds '15 points deduction' Utd in League 1.
(2) Who/what/where is Frank?
Those issues aside, thought I'd say hello to everyone. Have played FM since Champ Man Italia and recently got involved with the *spits* Tactics and Training Forum as I usually play with *spits again* my team Bolton Wanderers. In my very best attempts to avoid an LLM backlash, although Bolton are now considered a good team, they were back in the day in the 2nd division and well, at least they're my home team that I've supported for 157 years man and boy and I've never bothered with the big teams such as *double spits* Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle or gone down the path of eternal damnation and managed *exhausts all remaining spital* Manure.

LLM is usually played in the lowest league of a given country. Exceptions are people who are just finding their feet, as a sort of "initiation save" and people with PC that can't cope with lot's of leagues (bad excuse IMO),
Frank can be found in the header.

Conference North and South - Lower League
Conference - Lower League-ish
League 2 - Lower League, but with reservations.
League 1 - Really pushing it.
Championship - You're having a laugh.
But wanted to gain a bit more of a definitive answer as to Leigh RMI, Cambridge Utd or Leeds Utd.
I really should be revising now for an exam I've got on Friday but all this LLMing has really got into my blood I think, this is the best way to describe how I'm feeling:
"I really want to manage a gash dirt team, and see if I can do just a little bit better than gash or dirt with them, and then...who knows!".
It's brilliant, I feel liberated.

Basicly, if you want to play a real LLM save, there's no other option than starting a the lowest possible division (Conference North/South in England).

Arsenal isn't a big team; I consider it LLM hardcore as a matter of fact.
Spurs fan by any chance....?
For the record, over the last few years, the Wanderers have had some very annoying experiences with Arsenal even though we've beaten them on a few occasions.

Also in the header.
TBH he didn't ask what club to use, just specific club questions.
And multiquotes

Thank you
I'm Brian (and so is my wife!) I understand about asking which club to use, and can see why you thought that's what I was asking. I'm sure this happens quite often as to which club to choose in the same division.
However, in fact, I was simply using those three clubs as an example and was actually asking - as can be seen from my post - which division to start in i.e. how low is lower league.
Leigh RMI here I come!
