Helping some guy in the editor thread means that I use the editor myself?

I know how the editor works, I helped the guy. Simple. I'm currently using the original DB 100%, don't visit the tactics forum because it doesn't interest me, and don't visit the players forum.

I'm a PT programmer, and I'll always visit the editor forum. I've previously made a editor-like programme for one of the FIFA games. I can't see how helping someone that wants to use the editor, in anyway implicates me?

This is exactly the kind of blind rule following I stated was stupid before. Tell me WHY I cant visit the editor forum. If the game Im using Im not editing, and Im not opening the editor and looking at players myself (so there is NO CHANCE, absolutely zero of me seeing a good player in the editor, and looking for him in my game) then how does this go against the principles of LLM?

Maybe you should add a rule, not only cannot use editors etc, but is limited to what websites they can visit on the internet? Am I allowed to play other Football games on my PC, just incase they give a tip off on a good player? Of course I can.

Read what I posted in the editor forum. It had nothing to do with any players in the database, or anything even similar to that. It had to do with some guy who wanted to add a player. I told him what this players ratings should look like. Which I'm sure LOADS of people in this forum would know. Just in order to fit in here, you can't help someone else out? What is this, the Extreme Right Wing forum? I didn't break any rules. For Nobby to read my post, he was obviously visiting the Editing Forum himself! He posted nearly 9 hours after me, so my post would have had to have either been searched for (in which case, WHY would you search for posts by another member, just to check if theyre following rules that are meant ot be made to make the game more fun?) OR he was in the forum himself... Quite ironic really.

As for Nobby's investigative work all he needs to do is left click on name & view your posting history.

Why help other people cheat? That's not LLM. It's just as bad as someone saying "Hey I don't look for player tips, I just tell everyone in GPG the best players to buy".

I would also find it very difficult to believe that someone with that much experience with the editor is playing the LLM way.

What ends me with twallies like that is the attempted justification and the complete absence of understanding of LLM displayed.

You assume that we all "blindly follow the rules", yet that's completely untrue. We just agree with them. That's like me saying that you blindly follow the laws of your country, when surely you agree with their use? I want to play FM in a manner which suits me, and that I enjoy most. It just so happens that LLM is that way. If I were different, it may be playing challenges or making stories in those fora, in which case I'd likely follow their rules. As it happens, I like the realism of LLM.

Now, you either like LLM and WILL follow our rules/guidelines, OR you play FM your own way, which is fine by us, you bought the game. Just don't pretend to be something you're not, and stay out of our forum.
