Default Really, really tough Nonleague teams

So bought my copy of 2k8 yesterday, and as with every incarnation I head straight for my local club Boston Utd. (Stop snickering)

Thanking SI in all their wisdom for including leagues down to BSN, I set about reclaiming the titles so frequently denied my team in real life. (damn double relegations! )

So, my teams fairly good, top of the BSN... but I look upon meeting any nonleague team with absolute dread because I've not managed to beat one yet. Not Friendly, not FA Cup, not FA Trophy... none. They are absolutely fugging incredible compared to my league-winning BSN team. Now, am I just a terrible manager? Or is there something more devious at play, like a bug that can forgive me my terrible luck/managerial ability.

Anyone else suffering or got any experience of this?

It's an issue that's already been discussed in these parts, have a look at the Greys Athletic thread.

It does appear to be a bug linked to the database size though.

At least there's still the Polish outfit keeping up the international interest.

Welkome!
Hope you enjoy yer stay! good luck with (sigh) Boston Utd... Let's talk about their logo, that big boat, and their nickname, "The Pilgrims"... hmm... Doesn't seem right, not in the old continent...

Colors are good though.

Where exactly is Boston in the UK?

Thanks Mkus!
Interesting to know that
"Boston's most notable landmark is The Stump"
Does that mean that people there are also called Stumponians along with Bostonians?
