The default is to compress the file on saving, if you choose not to it will probably save/load even quicker.
I haven't tested the theory though.

Only running 19 leagues, but it feels very quick. It's early stages though, and may slow down later on.

I chose to run uncompressed, just in case. I always have done as I worry about saves dying. I figure if I'm investing so much time in the game, then I'd rather have a massive save file that works, than a smaller file that might give up the ghost due to compression.
I have absolutely no technical grounding to make this judgement, but figure that it's better to be safe than sorry.

I'm running all the highest leagues from all European countries plus all leagues in Germany and England. Compared to any older version of FM/CM, it's zooming |

I find processing games is taking longer as well. I have Scandinavia and the UK loaded. Have you checked your detail settings, by adjusting those you can get it to perform a bit quicker.

LFCfan is the guy I wanted to hear from, I knew there was somebody here than ran huge amounts of leagues like me.
I am running all leagues in Europe (about 70) and it's definately more tardy.
LFCfan what spec PC are you running in order to run every league in the game?!
