Emmenaar - the Setanta Shield is essentially the league cup for Conference teams. As it's looked after by the Conference, and is an "official" competition, suspensions would be applicable.
Because of the prize money on offer and the fact that Setanta will be televising a number of games, I assume the rule of keeping ten players from the sixteen man squad in the previous league game is in place as to avoid devaluing the competition.

At least, I think it's working this way. 98% Sure.

It must be simple if you're only 98% sure instead of 100%. |

So wot exactly is the big problem, look at Burton Albion 2 seasons ago, no gave them any credit to get anywhere in the cup and in all fairness they shouldve beaten Man Utd at home, in the 2 games with United they earnt more money than the last 2 seasons put 2geva, doesnt that say summit bout the cups...... a chance to test yourself against the bigger clubs and a chance for some SERIOUS money, even Eastleigh Vs WBA would be a massive commercial windfall for Eastleigh, who else do they play regularly, Weston-Super-Mare? Forest Green Rovers? Big whoop but they are massive games for them let alone the Chelsea's and the Arsenal's, Sunderland v Chelsea would almost be Eastleigh vs Weymouth, how many ppl can honestly say they have heard of any of them having a football club before playin LLM? I was brought up in Eastleigh and didnt kno till bout 3 years ago that they had a team so I cant imagine many more than a handfull of you could say that

The big problem exactly is that you can't spell, can't punctuate, use text speak and can't tell a paragraph from a parachute. |
